I'm scared about the Bronx this weekend. (and the Orioles tonight).

We need Jon Lester back and in that 5 spot. Would make for a stronger rotation (please no more Tavarez) and an even greater story.

Didn't he have lymphoma? How is he doing? He would be a great asset.

He was diagnosed w/lymphoma in the 2nd half of last season. It's in remission now and he's supposed to make a couple starts at Pawtucket and then re-join the big team w/in a couple of weeks. Kid's only 23...great comeback story if it happens.

Wow, only 23. I am glad to hear he came through it ok. I'm in Oregon and I remember hearing about him when he was a High School star up on Washington. My cousin went to Washington State Univ. and was hoping he would sign on with WSU. If memory serves me he went straight to the minors, did really well, and got pulled up to the majors soon after. What a success story. I hope we see him soon.
